# Verification

<mark style="color:$tint;">Verification is a verification of identity through Didit. I need it before I open an Exchange Account in ITradingBot. ITradingBot verification is not required to connect your own exchange account via API.</mark>

### Before the start

<mark style="color:$tint;">Sign in to your ITradingBot account. Prepare an identity document and a camera device: When checking, you should follow Didit's instructions for document and face checking.</mark>

<mark style="color:$tint;">Before you start, read the consent documents on the verification page. It has ITradingBot and Didit terms and information on data processing.</mark>

### Start the check

1. <mark style="color:$tint;">In the dashboard, open Account → Verification. You can also go directly to the</mark> [<mark style="color:$tint;">Verification page</mark>](https://app.itradingbot.net/verification)<mark style="color:$tint;">.</mark>
2. <mark style="color:$tint;">Please read the consent to data processing and mark it if you agree. After that, the Verify button will be available.</mark>
3. <mark style="color:$tint;">Click the button and perform the actions in the Didit window that opens. If the browser requests access to the camera for verification, allow it.</mark>
4. <mark style="color:$tint;">Once you've done that, go back to the verification page in ITradingBot and check the result.</mark>

### Check the result

<mark style="color:$tint;">I've been verified, I've been successfully identified. In the English interface, this result is called</mark> <mark style="color:$tint;"></mark><mark style="color:$tint;">**Verification approved**</mark><mark style="color:$tint;">.</mark>

<mark style="color:$tint;">Didit results can be updated in ITradingBot with delay. If the page still displays an update or a result processing, wait for the update. If necessary, click on Update status.</mark>

<mark style="color:$tint;">Other conditions suggest what to do next:</mark>

* <mark style="color:$tint;">Verification is done. Click Continue to return to verification.</mark>
* <mark style="color:$tint;">The data is still being examined. Wait for the results.</mark>
* <mark style="color:$tint;">**Requires action**</mark> <mark style="color:$tint;"></mark><mark style="color:$tint;">or Repeat the check Click Continue and complete the Didit request.</mark>
* <mark style="color:$tint;">The verification link has expired or the verification is not complete Use the Start button.</mark>
* <mark style="color:$tint;">Verify</mark> <mark style="color:$tint;"></mark><mark style="color:$tint;">**The expiration date**</mark> <mark style="color:$tint;"></mark><mark style="color:$tint;">Click Go again and follow the instructions.</mark>
* <mark style="color:$tint;">**Verification failed**</mark> <mark style="color:$tint;"></mark><mark style="color:$tint;">Click Write in support to see the result and follow-up.</mark>

### If there is a problem

<mark style="color:$tint;">The boot button is not available. Check if you have consent to the data processing. While the request is processed, the button is temporarily blocked.</mark>

<mark style="color:$tint;">No access to the camera, check the camera permissions in the browser and try again. You can also open your account on another device and continue checking there.</mark>

<mark style="color:$tint;">**Couldn't download the status or open the check.**</mark> <mark style="color:$tint;"></mark><mark style="color:$tint;">If the service is temporarily unavailable or you receive a message about too many requests, wait and try again later.</mark>
