# Binance: copying and transferring settings

The settings of the Binance task can be copied to the constructor, linked or opened in the Backtester. These actions carry the configuration; creating a new task and starting a historical calculation are confirmed separately.

### Create a similar task

1. Open up the [Binance robot](https://app.itradingbot.net/binance-robot), select the connection and find the original task.
2. In the menu of the lines, select a copy. A design engine with setup tasks opens up.
3. Check the selected assets, direction, volume, grid, exit method and signal conditions. Make the changes you need.
4. Click Create a task when the configuration is ready, and check the new line in the list.

The opening of the form itself does not create a task. Copying settings does not carry out the open position and its order; the original task remains with your robot. The sequence of first launches is described in the article [Binance: first task and launch](/en/binance-robot/binance-first-task-and-launch.md).

### Pass the settings by link

1. Mark one or more tasks in the table and check the number of lines you have selected.
2. Click Copy in the dashboard above the table. The link with the configuration will be in the exchange buffer.
3. Open the link or pass it on to the recipient. It'll load the settings into the Binance constructor.
4. Before you create, check the connection and all fields that are filled in. The link does not select a specific recipient account.

One link contains a general set of parameters and a list of assets. The selected tasks must match the portable grid, exit and signal parameters, as well as the group of assets in the calculation currency. Different trading pairs are allowed. If the button is not available, go to the cursor and read the reason.

The recipient of the link gets the configuration itself, not just the name of the task. When loaded, the set is checked for compatibility. If you get a message about incorrect parameters, don't create a task with a blank form. For another exchange, you need to check the settings separately: changing the page address doesn't change the strategy.

### Open the settings in the Backtester

Click the Send to Baxter tip on the taskbar. The new tab will open a form of calculation with the configuration moved.

Before you launch, compare the asset, period, settlement mode, deposit, leverage and commission model, grid parameters and all signal conditions. The deposit and commission are modeled and not counted as the actual value of your account. Then run the calculation separately.

This transfer does not reproduce actual robot trades, the history of TradingView external signals, or the work of the trailing stop. The conditions of historical verification are described in the article Backtester: parameters and limitations of the model. — [Backtest: parameters and limitations of the model](/en/tools/calculations-and-verification/backtester-model-parameters-and-limitations.md) The results on the history don't guarantee the results of real trade.
