# Binance robot: connecting your own account

Connect your Binance account to the ITradingBot trading robot. For the main account, a separate connection procedure is used, and for the sub-account input of prepared API keys.

### Before you connect

Log in to ITradingBot and complete the Telegram link. If you haven't already, start with the article "Register and enter". — [Registration and entry](/en/account/registration-sign-in-and-account-recovery.md)

Prepare access to the correct Binance account. If you're connecting a sub-account, prepare its API Key and API Secret in advance.

The instructions apply to your own Binance account and a regular trading robot. The differences from Exchange Account on Bybit are described in the article Selecting a connection method. — [Select the connection method](/en/account/exchange-accounts/choosing-a-connection-method.md)

### Free terms and conditions for Binance

To connect your own account on Binance to the FREE robot , one of two conditions is sufficient:

* The account is registered via the ITradingBot reference link. — [Referral link to ITradingBot](https://accounts.binance.com/register?ref=960472302)
* **Or** the account was registered on or after January 11, 2025 and not linked to a third-party referral.

For an account with our referral link, the date of registration is not limited.

The access level limits and possibilities are summarized in the [Free, PRO and VIP](/en/account/free-pro-and-vip-terms-and-payment.md) articles.

### Connect the main account

1. Open the [Binance robot creation page](https://app.itradingbot.net/binance-robot-create).
2. Read the terms on the page and agree to them.
3. Click Create a Robot and select Basic.
4. On the page that opens, follow the proposed steps to connect. Check which Binance account you are connecting to and which access you are confirming.
5. Once you're back in ITradingBot, check the result in the robot settings.

If the key is already connected, a repeat confirmation procedure may not be required. If the robot already exists, the creation page will open its settings.

### Connect the sub-account

A manual key input is used to connect the sub-account.

If you already have a working connection, first open the settings of the existing robot. Selecting a manual branch on the creation page can remove the saved API connection before the new key is entered.

1. Open the [Binance robot creation page](https://app.itradingbot.net/binance-robot-create) and read the terms.
2. Select Sub account and click Create a Robot.
3. Enter the pre-formed values in the **Api Key** and **Api Secret** fields.
4. Click Add and wait for the result. If the key is taken and the robot is created, its settings will open.

If the robot already exists but the key hasn't been added yet, open the Binance Robot Settings. — [Configuration of the Binance robot](https://app.itradingbot.net/binance-robot-settings) In the API block, click Add API, select Sub Account, fill in key fields and save them with the Add button.

For this manual branch, prepare the key according to the instructions Create a Binance Key API. — [Building a Binance Key API](/en/binance-robot/creating-binance-api-keys.md) It describes trading rights and disabling IP restrictions for a separately created API key to the Binance robot. Do not include withdrawal authorization.

If the working key is already connected, do not remove it or choose another connection just to go through this instruction again.

### Check the result

The Binance Robot Settings page in the API block shows the robot, part of the API key, and the status of the robot. — [Configuration of the Binance robot](https://app.itradingbot.net/binance-robot-settings) Check that the key appears on the list.

Connecting the key and starting the robot are different actions. Start button controls the start. First, check the settings and prepare trading tasks.

### If the connection is not complete

Read the message on the screen. If you need to be authorized to ITradingBot, log in again and go back to the connection. If you hear that the robot already has the keys, check the settings first.

When manually input, verify that API Key and API Secret are linked to the same account and are copied without any additional characters. Don't send the keys to the mail yourself.

If you receive a message that the key is not in compliance with the FREE access requirements or the reason for the refusal is unclear, contact ITradingBot support. — [support for ITradingBot](https://t.me/ITradingBot_Support) Please specify whether you are connecting the main or sub-account and attach the error text. Hide the keys and personal information on the screenshot.
