Bybit: copying and exporting tasks
The Bybit robot page allows you to copy settings into the constructor, link them, open them in the Backtester, or export tasks to another Exchange Account robot on Bybit. The link opens the form, and the confirmed export creates tasks for the recipient.
Create a similar task
Open up The Bybit robot, select an account and find the original task.
Select a copy from the line menu. A design engine with the original task settings opens.
Check the account, assets, direction, volume, grid, exit and signal conditions. If the interface has reported incompatible parameters, first deal with the message.
Make the necessary changes and click Create a task. After you answer, check the new line on the list.
The discovery of the designer doesn't create a task. The original task remains with the robot; position and order are not transferred. The first launch is described in the article Bybit: first task and launch.
Pass the configuration by link
Select one or more tasks and click Copy in the tab over the table. The link will load the configuration into Bybit's constructor. Before creating a new account, the recipient must verify the selected account and all the settings: the link does not attach settings to a specific account.
Multiple tasks must match the portable set of grid, exit and signal parameters; trading pairs may differ. Trailing stop tasks are not transmitted in this way. If you don't have a button, read her tip.
The stop settings in the default require the receiver to support this mode. If the configuration has not been tested, do not keep the form incomplete. Switching the address to another exchange page doesn't change the settings.
The person with this link gets the configuration itself. Pass it along with the settings you want to reveal.
Open the task in the Backtester
Click the Send to Baxter tip on the taskbar. The new tab will open a form of historical calculation. For a stop-and-go task, this transition is not available.
Check the asset, period, mode, deposit and commission model, grid and signal parameters. The amounts and commissions of the form are not counted as real value of the account. The transfer doesn't reproduce actual trades and a trailing stop. The calculation is run separately; its boundaries are described in the article Backtester: parameters and limitations of the model. — Backtest: parameters and limitations of the model
Export tasks to another robot
The recipient may be another Exchange Account robot on Bybit. — Exchange Account on Bybit The source is a robot's own API connection or Exchange Account. The window shows the user's suitable robots; the stopped robot is not available for selection.
When the export is successful, the copies become enabled even if the original tasks were turned off. Check the robot's readiness and receiver's account before confirmation.
Mark the tasks and check the number of lines you have chosen.
You can press Export. In the Export task window, check the account name and the robot number of the recipient.
Read the alert for included copies and click Export.
Wait for the report. Open the receiver and check the tasks created, their settings and status.
Unsupported parameters can be omitted. In particular, the trailing stop from the robot's own API is not transferred by this export to the Exchange Account robot. Task limits and signal checking can also lead to a failure for part of the set.
Export does not remove the original tasks and does not transfer current trades between accounts. Including a copy does not in itself confirm the execution of the order: check the tasks and trades with the recipient.
Find the partial execution
If you make a mistake or lose a response, update the list of tasks at the recipient first. Some copies may have already been created; if the signal is not connected, the task may be turned off.
Compare the tasks created, their parameters and status to the original set. Repeating all exports can add duplicates, so re-send only the tasks the recipient doesn't have yet.
