Study the market, test your trading ideas, and manage your trades. ITradingBot tools can be used together or chosen for a specific task.

### Explore the market

The **Screener** helps you select trading pairs by assigned filters and shorten the list of tools for further study.

Market Info shows market indicators, including volume, funding and volatility.

**The trading terminal** combines charts, orders and positions. Here you can monitor the price and place orders manually. The actions available depend on the exchange, the market and the connected account.

### Check your ideas

**Signals and filters** help describe the conditions of the strategy: indicators entry and exit, filters additional conditions that allow the robot to operate. You can connect TradingView signals for supported scenarios. The received signal does not yet mean a trade: the remaining terms of the task must be fulfilled, and the order sent must be executed on the exchange.

The backtest is a way to see how the settings you choose would work on historical data. You set the period, study the results and individual trades on the chart, then go back to the settings if necessary. The results on history don't guarantee future profits.

### Trade and follow the results

Trading robots automate trading to your settings. You enter the interface's entry conditions, volume and exit rules, and then you track the robot's work. Automation does not exclude the risk of loss.

trade monitoring allows you to review trades and statistics for a selected period, return to results and sort out individual trades.

### How Tools Are Connected

An example of working on your own idea:

1. Study the market look at the charts and select the pairs using the screener.
2. Describe the terms define the logic of the trade's entry, volume and exit.
3. **Check the settings** run the calculation in the Backtester and figure out the result.
4. **Go to the trading** floor, set up a robot or work manually in the terminal.
5. **Watch and sort** out, follow the work, and get back to the history of the deal.

It's an example of sequence, not a mandatory route. Each instrument can be mastered as needed.

{% hint style="info" %}
You need to connect to an exchange account to trade: your account via the API or the [Exchange Account mode on Bybit](/en/company/how-exchange-account-mode-works.md). The method of connection is chosen taking into account the required tool and the type of account.
