First steps

Start with an account and tools. If you're planning on launching a robot, go from testing the idea to observing the first task. Detailed settings are given in separate instructions.

Sign up, confirm the email, and complete the Telegram link. — The registration You must include the User name (@nik) in Telegram. It's set separately from the profile name. Without a link and @nik, you can't work with the platform tools.

Open Account → Security and configure Account protection. Keep access to the connected confirmation methods: they may be needed for entry and important actions.

Select a tool for your task

The opportunity review shows how market analysis, Backtester, trading terminal and robots are linked. — the possibilities They don't have to be learned at the same time.

To check the terms of the strategy, start with the Backtester. For manual ordering, check the terminal. If you want to automate the entries and exits, you'll need to prepare the robot's task.

Check the idea for the history

Make The first Backtester calculation. Check the pair, the direction, the period, the volumes, the commission and the conditions of entry and exit. Then trade in individual trades and drawdowns, not just the bottom line.

The historical calculation doesn't open up real trades. Its result depends on the data and assumptions of the model and does not guarantee a profit after the robot is launched.

Prepare the connection to the exchange

Read about the ways to connect and choose the right one for your tool: your own exchange account or Exchange Account. They have different settings and access conditions.

Connecting a key in the terminal settings doesn't replace a robot connection. Before trading, check the exchange and the selected account in the panel header, as well as the available security and existing positions in that account.

Prepare the first task

Follow your exchange's instructions: Bybit: first task and launch or Binance: first task and launch. Set the instrument, the direction, the volume, the leverage, the exit, the number of cycles and the signal source.

Before you save, read the launch specifications in the selected instructions. In Bybit Exchange Account, the saved signal task is turned on to process the signals and, when the robot is working, it can lead to trading. For preliminary training, a stopped robot is used; Binance has a Create Off mark. After you save it, check the actual status of the task.

Check the result and order of stops

After launch, check the task, the active trade and the order. The signal, the order sent and the order executed are different stages. The successful shipment notification doesn't confirm execution on the exchange yet.

Find the steps to stop, cancel the next cycle and close the position in the Bybit and Binance task management instructions in advance. They have different consequences. After any such action, check the actual status of the position and orders.
