# Filter by Chande Momentum Oscillator

The filter compares the current value of the Chande Momentum Oscillator to the threshold. If the chosen condition is met, both directions of the task are allowed.

### Add the card to the designer

Open the Binance or Bybit robot task and [The ISignal](/en/signals-and-strategy-conditions/isignal-entry-filters-and-exit.md) designer. Select the Chande Momentum Oscillator from the filter block.

The trading instrument is out of the question. The new card uses form values; it's not a recommended strategy.

### Set the settings

* TF is selected from the list of current form; by default 1 minute.
* The **Type of candle**s is Ordinary or Hakeen-Ash, by default Ordinary.
* **Calculation** allows you to select closed bars or current unlocked bars mode On the intersection (every second). The original meaning is After closing the bar.
* Period bar window. The starting value is 9.
* Threshold indicator level. By default 0.
* **Type of filter** Above threshold or Below threshold. By default, Above the threshold.

### When the filter allows action

* **Above the threshold** allows action when the indicator value is not less than the threshold.
* Below the threshold allows action when the value is much lower than the threshold.
* This filter checks the level. No new threshold crossing is required, and the filter itself does not select a long or short.

### Consider the meaning of the calculation

The threshold is set in the indicator scale values. It is not the order price or the percentage change in the price of the pair. The entry indicator with the same name has a different function: it forms a cross-sectional signal.

### Save the card and check the action

In the field **When you exit the filter**, select a loss response. By default , cancel cycles; the Selling by market and Selling by market commands are also available , taking into account deviation (if specified). The exit of the filter can affect the task already in place, not just the new entry.

Keep the card and check the rest of the conditions. All the filters should allow it to go. The consequences of the exit commands and the differences in modes are explained in [The ISignal instructions](/en/signals-and-strategy-conditions/isignal-entry-filters-and-exit.md). The filtering permission does not confirm the order sent or executed.
