# Filter by price range

The Price range filter allows action when the current price is inside the specified boundaries or outside. The condition satisfied allows for both directions.

### Add the card to the designer

Open the Binance or Bybit robot task and [The ISignal](/en/signals-and-strategy-conditions/isignal-entry-filters-and-exit.md) designer. Select the Price range in the filter block.

The trading instrument is out of the question. The new card uses form values; it's not a recommended strategy.

### Set the settings

* The **price from** the lower bound in the price units of the chosen pair. The initial value is 0.
* The price is up to the upper limit. The initial value is 1. Before you save, set your own boundaries for the right pair.
* **Allow entry if** Inside range or Upper/lower range. By default In the range.

### When the filter allows action

* Within the range: price not below the lower limit and not above the upper limit.
* **Above/below range**: price at or above the upper limit or at or below the lower limit.
* The equality of one of the boundaries passes through both regimes. The conditions at the borders are not strictly opposite.

### Consider the meaning of the calculation

The boundaries set price levels, not the percentage of change or distance from the entry price. This filter doesn't place a limit order on the range boundary.

### Save the card and check the action

In the field **When you exit the filter**, select a loss response. By default , cancel cycles; the Selling by market and Selling by market commands are also available , taking into account deviation (if specified). The exit of the filter can affect the task already in place, not just the new entry.

Keep the card and check the rest of the conditions. All the filters should allow it to go. The consequences of the exit commands and the differences in modes are explained in [The ISignal instructions](/en/signals-and-strategy-conditions/isignal-entry-filters-and-exit.md). The filtering permission does not confirm the order sent or executed.
