# Price increase and decrease filter

In the current form, the filter is called P of price rise/fall 2.0. It checks the price change for a selected number of bars and allows both directions if the condition is met.

### Add a filter to the task

Open up the task of creating or editing a [Binance robot](/en/binance-robot/binance-first-task-and-launch.md) or a Bybit robot. — [The Bybit robot](/en/bybit-robot/bybit-first-task-and-launch.md) In the filter block, select Rise/Rise 2.0.

Field Active is missing. Set the filter for the pair the task is going to work with.

### Set the calculation

* TF is 1 minute, 5 minutes, 15 minutes or 1 hour. By default, 1 hour.
* Period from 3 to 150 bars. The new form says 12.
* **The deviation** is the threshold of change in interest. For the setup, use a positive integer from 1 to 100; the direction of the comparison is selected by the following field. The starting value is 30.
* **Allow entry if** Rise more, Rise less, Rise more or Rise less. By default, Rose more.

### When the filter allows action

* The change is calculated from the opening price of the first bar of the selected window to the closing price of the last one. The current unlocked bar is involved in the calculation.
* Growth is more permissible when the change is not less than a positive threshold; **Growth is less** than when it is not more than that.
* Reduction allows more action when the change is no more than a negative threshold; reduction is less than when it is no less than it. For example, at the threshold of 5 the level of -5% is checked.
* The threshold equation in these four conditions is filtered. The condition Rise less can be fulfilled even when the price falls, and Rise less when the price rises: it is a comparison with the threshold, without a separate requirement for the sign of change.

### Determine the meaning of the parameters

This instruction applies to version 2.0. The old filter card may have a different set of fields. Don't move your settings to a new card without checking the meaning of each field.

### Set the action when you exit the filter

Field When the filter is out refers to the situation when the task stops passing this condition. The new card has the Cancel Cycles option. The form also includes Sell by market and Sell by market with deviation (if indicated).

The filter can also affect a task that is already working: the exit from the condition transmits the selected command. Before you save, check the command's implications for your robot in the Binance or Bybit task description. — [Binance tasks](/en/binance-robot/binance-robot-tasks-and-active-trades.md) — [Bybit tasks](/en/bybit-robot/bybit-robot-tasks.md)

### Save and verify the task

Save the filter card, then check the rest of the conditions and parameters. Several filters should allow it to move at the same time. The filtering permission itself does not mean that the order has been sent or executed.

If the task mode supports the task without a basic signal, the filters can be involved in its start. So the conditions and the action you choose to take when you exit them should be checked before the robot starts.
