# MRC (FOMO)

MRC (FOMO) calculates the price channel around a smooth midline. In ISignal's entry and exit blocks, the closing price is crossed with the selected channel boundaries.

### Select the channel boundaries

Add **The MRC (FOMO)** to the block you want. The instrument is out of the question. Choose **The TF** and the **Type of candle**.

In the Overbought/Overbought fields, Weak, Medium and Strong are available. It's a choice of one of the two channel boundaries. The name of the level is not a trade reliability assessment or a reversal forecast.

The new card has defaulted to the Weak level and the channel exit condition. There's no separate period field on this card. The pre-filled values are not a trade recommendation.

### Select the signal condition

When the Reverse is turned off, the following rules apply.

**When you leave the channel**

* Long signal: the price was above the bottom line, and now it's either equal to or below it.
* Shortcut: the price was below the upper limit, and now it's either equal to or higher.

**When you get back to the channel**

* Long signal: the price was below the bottom line, and now it's either equal to or higher.
* Shortcut: the price was above the upper limit, and now it's either equal to or below it.

It requires crossing the border: the price on the same side does not create a new crossing signal. The reverse switch changes the direction of the signals in places.

### Set the time and role

In the **Calculation** field , you can access the Bar Closing and the Intersection (secondly). The second mode checks the bar that is forming, so its price, boundaries and signal may change before closing.

The signal must be in line with the task. In the reverse-free exit block, the short signal serves as a condition for closing the long, and the long is a condition for closing the short. The field will set the reaction **When the signal is received**.

The exit mode, taking into account the deviation, depends on the configuration and type of robot and does not guarantee profitable execution. FOMO channel filters and their widths are separate cards.

Keep the card and check the settings according to [The ISignal instructions](/en/signals-and-strategy-conditions/isignal-entry-filters-and-exit.md). The indicator signal does not mean that the order has been accepted or executed on the exchange.
