Robots in the terminal
In Binance and Bybit's desktop futures terminal, you can work with the tasks of a regular robot, manage a Hedge robot, and run a grid for the current pair. These tools are in separate blocks.
Open the desired block
Find the Trade robot, Hedge robot or grid in the terminal's sidebar. If the block is hidden, turn it on in the layout settings. More about the location of the blocks in The terminal overview.
Before you do anything, check the exchange, the account you selected and the name of the robot inside the block. Having an API terminal connected does not mean that the robot is connected to the same account.
A Hedge robot with its own API can have a message The robot is attached to another API key of this exchange. In this case, the teams are the robot shown. First, check his connection.
The rocket in the block Trade robot, its shape preservation and the Hedge command usually open the confirmation. When the Trade is enabled with one click, these actions can proceed without this window. Check the settings before you click.
The tasks of a regular robot
The trading robot block contains the tabs Tasks, Creating tasks, Settings, Active and Blocked. Here you can see the status of the robot and the tasks, open the designer and change the available settings.
The New task button opens the form. Check the pair, the direction, the volume, the grid, the exit and the signal conditions. The form sending keeps the task in the robot; the signal task turned on can start processing the conditions immediately after creation.
The setup sequence is broken down separately for Bybit and Binance. The task state switch and the rocket perform different actions: the task enabled does not yet mean an open trade, and the rocket sends a manual launch request.
Hedge robot
Hedge's separate block has the tabs Classic and Aggressive. The aggressive mode is VIP marked and is not available for selection without appropriate access.
The selected mode card shows the robot, the connection, the status and the task. Check the mode before you create a task, save settings or the Run and Stop commands: they relate to the current robot of that mode.
Without the key connected, the boot button is inaccessible. If the selected Exchange Account is not yet displayed, use Update and check the status of the account. Do not consider an empty or unloaded block as proof that there are no open positions.
Calculation and start from grid
Preview draws the calculated levels on the graph; Clear clears these lines. It's a calculation action.
For the Grid in Exchange Account, manual launch from grid and the rocket bypass the one-way limit and the number limits of simultaneously active tasks. Checks on the task already working and the position of the same pair and the parties remain. This order should not be extended to all other types of robots.
Run in the block grid sends a robot start for the current pair after field checking, without an additional confirmation window. Before you click, check the account, pair, direction, volume, leverage, number of cycles and grid parameters.
The Create a robot in the optimizer first suggests where to open the task form: in the terminal or on a separate page. After you move it, check the values in the form itself.
Check the result of the command
After the team, check the status of the robot, tasks and orders. The message about the team that was accepted does not confirm the trade. If the status is not yet confirmed or a communication error has occurred, update the data before restarting: the task may have already been created.
Winding or closing the block only changes the terminal's working space. It doesn't send a stop-and-go team to the robot or close the position.
